ACADEMIC SYSTEM
In Canada, the school year typically runs from September to June and is divided into two semesters. The first semester goes from September to January, and the second semester spans from February to June.
Some schools in Canada follow a linear system, where students take the same subjects throughout the entire school year.
On the other hand, some schools adopt a semestral system, offering different subjects in each semester. This means students will take a set of subjects from September to January, and then switch to a different set from February to June.
The number and type of subjects will depend on the schools’ resources and facilities.
